Apex Legends: Hunted – Vantage’s Story Explained Further

The new season of Apex Legends is coming. Its name is Hunted, and before its launch on August 9, the trailer arrives to announce what to expect in this new season. In addition to purely gameplay elements, the trailer also expands the game’s lore and promises more during the season. So we can learn more about the backstory of Vantage, one of the most impressive heroines in the game.

While the official page gives us some clues about who Xiomara Contreras is and where she comes from, there is always more to learn. Every hero deserves some backstory, and in Hunted, it seems, we get a solid piece of it. So, what did Vantage do before she entered the Apex Games in an attempt to get her mother out of prison?

The trailer, though, promises more than just an explanation of Vantage’s fantastic sniper skills, as well as her abilities like Echo Relocation or Sniper’s Mark. The story of her interactions with her imprisoned mother, as well as the details of Vantage joining the team, will appear so cinematic that the trailer makes us want Apex Legend’s own Arcane-like series.

Also, the new season will bring us a renovated version of Kings Canyon, so the gameplay is much more balanced there, an increased level cap (now it’s 2000 – a huge increase from the previous maximum of 500), and another repaired location – Skull Town.

Those with Battle Pass will also get reactive weapon skills and new skins. The cost of Battle Pass is usually 950 coins (2,800 coins if you want to start at Level 25). It’s not yet clear which skins it will include, but the leak has it that there’ll be Legendary Wraith, and Caustic, as well as Reactive Triple Take.
