Final Season of Diablo III Introduces Long-Awaited Gaming Feature

As Diablo IV takes over the spotlight from Diablo III, Blizzard is preparing to bid farewell to the latter. The company will begin reiterating previous seasonal themes, but the upcoming 29th season is expected to introduce a significant new single-player mode.

This "solo self found" mode allows players to opt out of group play to maintain their own leaderboards for solo performance. Since group play offers bonus XP and other perks, this mode provides solo players with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills among their contemporaries. The mode will also be accessible in hardcore mode.

Numerous other changes are also expected in season 29, as detailed in a Blizzard blog post. For instance, there will be a cap on how much a stat can be increased by using Paragon points. You can read about the other major changes here.
