Get Ready for Pokémon TV Series from Netflix

Great news for all fans of the Pokémon universe. According to Variety magazine, Netflix works on a new project in the spirit of Detective Pikachu. The series is still in its early stages, and no detailed comments have yet been received from representatives of the streaming platform. Nevertheless, some information on this account is already available.

One of the co-runners of the popular Lucifer series Joe Henderson was involved in this project as an executive producer and screenwriter. He is also known for his work on one of the 11.22.63 episodes. The creators decided to combine animation and live-action within the framework of this show. Other details such as a plot, cast, and planned release date remain unknown. Moreover, Netflix has not yet officially announced the production of a new series.

Now, this streaming platform actively adapts the plots of popular games. So, in their library, you can find a show based on The Witcher, and soon it is planned to release series based on Tomb Raider and Resident Evil. Earlier it was reported that Netflix and Nintendo were talking about the film adaptation of Legend of Zelda. However, it did not end with anything, and chances are the same story awaits us with Pokémon.
