GTA 6: Major Game Leak Reveals Some Details of the Upcoming Title

Rockstar Games has confirmed the development of GTA 6 and things took an unexpected turn for the studio because of the sudden major leak of the game. Back in February, Rockstar Games confirmed that the next entry in the GTA series is on its way while the leak offered a sneak peek for the players.

The GTA 6 leak took place on September 18th and provided more than 90 screenshots and videos from the alpha build of the game. While it seemed too good to be true, the gaming studio authenticated this leak almost straight away. Even though the company is actively trying to remove all the evidence from the Internet, we all know that this never works.

Due to the leak of the game, players got plenty of interesting information related to the gameplay, location, and characters of the upcoming title. There have been different talks about the location in the game, but it seems that the action will be set in Vice City once again. While there is no available map at the moment, it also looks like the play space will be extended beyond the city. As for the characters, the early development footage revealed two new playable characters in the game — Lucia and Jason.

One thing that players now wonder when it comes to the game is whether it will be delayed now because of the leak. Rockstar Games came forth with the confirmation that they “do not anticipate any disruption to our live game services nor any long-term effect on the development of our ongoing projects.’ It seems that the work on the game will continue to go according to the schedule, and the speculation is that the game is supposed to come out sometime in 2025. Considering that the release is far from now, it is likely that a lot of things will change in the game.
