Playstation Announces Six New Games Coming Out for PSVR2, Including Fantavision Sequel
Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently announced six new titles coming to PlayStation VR2, the company's virtual reality system. Among them is a sequel to the beloved rhythm game, Fantavision, as well as new multiplayer sword-fighting action, rhythm game, and a co-op adventure. All of these titles will be available on February 22, 2023.
The first product announced is Fantavision 202X, a sequel to the classic PlayStation 2 game Fantavision. Developed by Cosmo Machia Inc., Fantavision 202X allows players to experience the classic game with brand-new levels and new features. The game is set to release on February 22, 2023.
Another game is Altair Breaker, an action-packed multiplayer sword-fighting game. Developed by the same studio that brought us Last Labyrinth, Amata K.K., The Tale of Onogoro is a cooperative adventure set in a parallel world. Players will team up with a shrine maiden on the island of Onogoro to defeat the five giant Kami.
Kizuna AI – Touch the Beat! is a rhythm game from developer Gemdrops, Inc. It will be available on both PSVR and on flatscreen mode for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
For those looking for a more cooperative experience, The Tale of Onogoro is a great option. Players will join forces with a shrine maiden named Hal to defeat the five giant Kami that inhabit the island of Onogoro. Players will have to solve puzzles to progress, making for a unique and thrilling adventure.
Another game that’s coming to the PSVR2 is Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, an investigation game from MyDearest Inc. The game will put players into the shoes of a detective as they explore a mysterious world.
Finally, X8 is a 5v5 multiplayer tactical shooter coming to PSVR2. The game plays out over multiple three-minute rounds, where attackers must place and detonate explosives while defenders try to stop them.
The six titles revealed for PSVR2 offer a diverse range of gaming experiences for players to enjoy. From multiplayer sword-fighting to rhythm games, there’s something for everyone.
